The City Walk invites you to join an atmospheric lantern-lit stroll through the streets of Assens. Join the museum docent on a walk through the city’s streets, alleys, courtyards, and backstreets, and learn about the significance of light for the city and for those who lived and worked there in days gone by. The students carry lanterns on our walk during the dark morning hours.
Students experience:
- That the lamps draw attention to the use of light sources throughout history
- The Value of Light Then and Now.
- Through the streetlights and the darkness of the city, the students sense how people’s circumstances have changed over time.
