West Funen Museum Association
Do you think local history is important—and would you like to support the work of Museum Vestfyn? Then a membership in the Vestfyn Museum Association is just the thing for you.
The Museum Association supports Museum Vestfyn and the Assens Local Archives and works to promote interest in the history of Vestfyn as well as to foster a greater understanding of cultural policy.
As a member, you'll get:
- Free admission to Museum Vestfyn's exhibitions.
- Half-price guided tours at Museum ERNST.
- Special event offers – for members only.
- Grants for various events.
- Subscription to the Museum Vestfyn newsletter.
- Attendance at the annual general meeting in June.
All members are very welcome to get actively involved
Among other things, we need volunteer custodians, and much more.
Membership costs only 200 DKK per year, and you can sign up by visiting Museum ERNST at Østergade 57, 5610 Assens.

Become a Volunteer
As a volunteer at Museum Vestfyn, you’ll become part of the museum’s community. You decide for yourself how much time you’d like to contribute. We have many exciting tasks to offer. Do you have a passion for letters and handwriting and want to delve into the museum’s extensive letter collection, or are you service-oriented and would you like to interact with museum visitors? The museum has many different types of tasks, and we’re always in need of a helping hand.
