Construction of the 17.5-kilometer recreational trail along the old railroad line between Assens, Ebberup, Flemløse, and Glamsbjerg is now in full swing. Once the trail is completed, it will be open to both cyclists and pedestrians, and there will also be an interpretive trail along the route.

But what should the trail be called? Tonight, Assens Municipality is hosting an ideas evening at Flemløse Gl. Kro. Registered participants will have the opportunity to suggest names for the new trail. At the meeting, museum curator Ingrid Vatne from Museum Vestfyn will talk about the trail’s history.
