Join us on a walk together—with storytelling as our guide and nature as our backdrop.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy brief cultural and historical insights, readings from works of fiction, and glimpses of the natural surroundings we’re passing through. Each walk is unique and designed as a standalone story that opens up new perspectives on places you may already know, but which you can now see with fresh eyes.
There will be a Sunday Walk on the last Sunday of every month for (almost) all of 2026. The walks are taken at a leisurely pace so that most people can join in. Participation is free. Just show up in comfortable clothes and with a smile, and you’ll enjoy nature, culture, good company—and a cup of coffee.
The walks are organized by Museum Vestfyn and the Assens Volunteer Center in collaboration with local partners.
This summer’s Sunday walks will take us to Haarby Mølledam on Sunday, June 28, and to Knarreborg on Sunday, August 30. The Sunday walks will take a summer break in July.
